Understanding The Reason Behind Why Does Skin Wrinkle With Age
With growing age, the skin tends to wrinkle because of the changes found in the several layers of the skin. The significant change happens on the epidermis layer where the skin cells are lost over time. And, the proteins found in the dermis undergo chemical changes which make the cells less flexible. This combined with the loss of fat right underneath the dermis creates pockets and canyons resulting in wrinkles.
